Let's hope Bloomsbury has finally learned a lesson...

PW has reported that Bloomsbury is issuing a new jacket for Magic Under Glass. Now it's time for Little Brown to do something about the Mysterious Benedict Society covers (I'll let Bookshelves of Doom fill you in on that, but let's just say that the picture on the left, from the jacket of The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Prisoner's Dilemma, is supposed to be a "light-brown" African-American boy named Sticky).

  1. Why do publishers think we won't buy books with people of color on the front cover?? Old habits die really hard I guess!
