The rewards of reviewing
Here are the happy School Library Journal December Holiday reviewers (Los Angeles Public Librarians all) enjoying a well-earned meal at Drago Centro. Reading and reviewing dozens of holiday book in the July heat does have its rewards!
It was fun to see you there. Now you all know why Danielle and I like Order Meeting days - we treat ourselves to fancy lunch! I had the pappardelle with pheasant and split the salmon salad. Mm... What was the favorite dish at the table?
Wish I could have been there.

ReplyDeleteFolks who ordered either of the risotto dishes were much envied. We shared 4 desserts - very haute, especially the parmesan gelato.
ReplyDeleteSo jealous! Looks like you all had a fine time.
