Just when the first signs of Newbery Fever have begun to manifest themselves (the urge to read every starred children's novel, the desire to endlessly discuss one's favorite - and least favorite - contenders, etc), along comes Heavy Medal - back from its spring/summer hiatus to help us scratch our Newbery Itch!
